Large Drain Retrofit Valve

The Dranjer JR15 is designed to fit existing floor drains with a diameter between 6.25 and 11 inches. This one-way valve allows water to flow into the drain while effectively blocking radon gas, soil gas, insects, and odors from entering your living space.

Easy Installation

Installing the Dranjer JR15 is quick and straightforward:

Remove the existing strainer plate from your floor drain.
Position the JR15 by holding it under the strainer plate using the flexible rubber flange.
Reinsert the strainer plate (with the JR15 attached) into the drain’s retaining ring.
The JR15 stays securely in place as the flexible flange is pinched between the strainer plate and the retaining ring.

Radon Protection & Additional Benefits

Testing has shown that simply sealing the floor drain can significantly reduce radon levels to meet government safety standards.
Installing a Dranjer JR15 is the first step in radon mitigation—test your radon levels after installation.
If further mitigation is needed, the Dranjer JR15 complements Active Subslab Depressurization (ASD) systems, providing additional support for radon reduction.

For smaller drains (as small as 2 inches in diameter), consider the Dranjer DR2 valve as an alternative.

How Your Dranjer J Series Works

J Series have a ball valve that floats – allowing for high flows through the unit.

When the flow stops the valve closes and radon gas can no longer flow up through the floor drain or sump cover. Effectively reducing radon levels in the dwelling.

Dranjer products are engineered and laboratory and field tested. Dranjer products are DIY friendly. Dranjers are often installed association with an ASD system but may be the only action you need to reduce your radon levels.
